San Luis Lake
Frozen San Luis Lake creaked, groaned, and cracked as I made this shot. It can be brutally cold in the San Luis Valley, and this night was no exception, as my hand-held weather station recorded -16C. Despite the cold, though, the Sangre De Cristo range is a beautiful sight in winter.
